Stormy entered the digital world in 1985 with an Apple IIe, teaching herself MacPaint.
After earning a journalism degree that year, she edited a trade magazine, learning PageMaker.
These skills led to art direction for Sanford Payton Advertising in 1987,
when computers were just arriving in design agencies.
Stormy started Blue Sky Design in 1994 and began using Quark Express.
